Every time I look in your eyes, I can’t help but be thankful, God truly did a number on me with this one, it’s like praying for a hundred blessings, but rather receiving a trillion, I can’t began to say what you mean to me, it’s so crazy that every time my mom sees you, she winks at me and I give her a thumbs up lol, she says you’re the woman she’d been praying for, to love and protect her son at all cost, and I always make sure to remind your father that his princess is in good hands, you’ve become the queen of my world, and I promise to forever protect and provide for you, this the type of love I never imagined to experience, and the type of love I don’t wanna go another day without, so Abena, Houfe hemma, me do wu, wu do ye me de keke, wai ye odo ye wu ampa!

I hate pretending like you don’t be on my mind, but apparently we gotta play this game, not allowing my emotions to be evident, I’m beyond sure you’re aware of my intentions, it’s much more than breakfast and lunch, I want to watch the sunset, and take trips, places we didn’t even know existed, cause lord knows I wanna get lost with you, you put me in a realm of comfort, things you do, things you say, just something about you, but let me not get in my feelings lol, just know your existence is appreciated, and cherished, you’re a gem

This is not to downgrade or disregard other women, but listen to me when I say this, there’s something about an African Woman, she just glows different, her vibes are something so welcoming, within her eyes you can see culture and elegance, she has embedded the philosophies passed down centuries, caring for those near and far alike, when she steps out, garments of refined style, turning heads and catching eyes, her melanin skin shines in the dark just as much in the light, as if you’re standing next to the Sun, but it’s burning glow won’t hurt you, it’s rather welcoming, and when she dances, Lord knows it’s like watching the most precious exhibit of rhythm, it’s as if all these Afrobeat songs were created just for her, thank God for African Women everywhere
