And before you think this is just another poem, let me please correct you, this is far more than jut a ton of words creating sentences, this a testimony of the beauty God granted me in the form of a Queen, yes she withholds this glow of melanin, but that alone is not why she captured me, she has a way of being caring, selfless in moments others would be selfish, she chose to stick by my side and implant elevation, knowing the journey with me would not be easy, yet she found a reason to believe in me, and for that I am forever grateful for her existence, OHEMMA

Forgive me, but there’s no way I can stand here and not stare, witnessing such a creation from the creator, never did I think I would walk this earth and come across such, you stand there effortlessly enchanting, I am not even sure you are aware of the beauty you withhold, cause lords know a image can’t come close to the reality of what you entail, how dare God create you without a warning, maybe I’m in deep slumber, but even if so, I’d never leave it, but thankfully it’s real life, a melanin queen filled with elegance & grace, OH MY GOSH

Be patient they say, let life run its course they say, but what if I don’t want to wait on life, and rather take it into my own hands, cause waiting on it to bring you closer to me is a bit exhausting, I’d rather just plan an amazing date, sweep you off your feet with a trillion roses, giving you moments of laughter and smiles, my one trip to your land, I spotted you on the dance floor, moves upon moves, but my words were frozen in time, my IG crush right before my eyes, I didn’t utilize the moment, but believe the next one, I would freeze up

HER REFLECTION, 2019

It’s not as if she didn’t remember what she looked like, but in case time came and she forgot, we captured her in a moment that was a 1 on 1 conversation with herself, I wasn’t too sure what was being said, but I know she was investing nothing but the positive things into her life, so I decided to close my eyes and pray, I asked God to watch over her and all the things her eyes saw through this life, that he would armor her with love and care, that no matter what arrived, the strength and bravery he implanted in her would always take effect, I cried a bit honestly, because before me was this symbol of a true queen, carved from the most precious creations of this realm, melanin of astonishing elegance, a real life experience to be treasured for an eternity, I am just thankful to have enjoyed her presence, prayers for her and her reflection, you both are BEAUTIFUL, just breathtaking.
